The primary role of WDC is to strengthen women and train them to perform various roles in society. In the post accreditation period Women Development Centre organized the following activities:
Conducted communication skills classes, training on increasing word power, organized group discussion sessions, training women on using internet, fabric painting, fashion shows, essay writing competitions, English typing, elocution, basic computer training classes, preparation of candles, soaps, detergents, washing powder and training in calculation of Body Mass Index (BMI).

Social service is undertaken by members of WDC by distributing food and clothing in old age homes, sapling plantation for increasing greenery, Swachch Bharat Abhiyan for clean surroundings, AIDS awareness for a healthy society and interaction with DWACRA groups to understand and encourage women self-help groups etc.
Information is power and WDC provides information through the Documents and Publications like the handouts of Malala Lecture, Lecture of Smriti Irani and awareness meetings and campaigns on atrocities against women as in the sad death of Nirbhaya in Delhi and Esther Anuhya in Mumbai.
Conducted classes to enhance knowledge, techniques and tools to develop skills and changes in individual traits which help women to understand the role to be played in different situations in society. WDC also helps women to acquire the knowledge and skills necessary for advancing gender equality in their daily lives and work.
Basic awareness was created regarding what constitutes sexual harassment and violence against women in society in general and on campus in particular.
Rangoli competitions, quiz competitions, mehandi competitions, making artificial flowers from waste material etc., were organized to bring out the creativity of women students.
All these activities culminate in the International Women’s Day celebrated every year
